DICOM printing explained simply
A modality sends a print job, NanoCareRIP receives it, checks the license, and routes it to the correct Windows printer. The clinic sees one controlled workflow instead of several disconnected printer settings.
How NanoCareRIP helps the clinic
Receive images from the modality
The modality sends a DICOM print job to NanoCareRIP using a normal AE Title and DICOM port.
Route the job to Windows
NanoCareRIP maps the job to the selected Windows printer and paper tray.
Control licenses and usage
The server checks the active license, printer limits and AET limits before printing, while usage remains available for audit.
Real-world setup example
One X-ray room, one printer, one license
A small clinic installs NanoCareRIP on a Windows PC. The X-ray modality sends prints to AE Title NANOCARE, the server routes them to the Windows printer in the reception room, and the dealer uses the portal to monitor license status and audit logs.
